Hot Finished Circular Hollow Sections - 273.0x16.0

Hot-finished circular hollow sections (CHS) are seamless or welded tube-shaped steel pipes manufactured at very high temperatures, usually around 1,000°C. Because they are shaped while the steel is red-hot, the metal cools evenly, eliminating the internal structural stresses often found in cold-formed pipes. This uniform structure makes them highly reliable under heavy loads, easier to weld, and less likely to crack when bent or modified. Their smooth, round shape offers exceptional resistance to twisting and uniform strength from all angles, making them the preferred choice for heavy-duty columns, bridges, offshore structures, and demanding architectural projects.
